How to introduce this clip

“The creators, cast, and crew of The Chosen can’t portray every miracle of Jesus, but they certainly let us watch several play out. While it was surely a challenge to film, it was a given they were going to show us the miracle we traditionally refer to as “The Feeding of the 5,000,” and it serves as one of the climactic scenes of the final episode of Season 3. Here’s a bit of context for what you’re about to watch: Large crowds of people have gathered to listen to Jesus teach all day, and now? They’re hungry. Trouble is, all they have by way of food is five loaves of bread and two fish that have been humbly offered up by a little boy named Telemachus. Let’s watch this clip from The Chosen to see what happens next…”

*If your church does not know about The Chosen, before you show the clip, you might also want to tell them the following: “The Chosen is a television show that tells the story of Jesus through the eyes of the people who knew him.”
